Embryo

Installation with Immersive Sound and Visual in a room with three screens

In the darkness, visitors will encounter a deep groan-like sound and vague image that continuously generate and transform. The faint light in the darkness become an amorphous projected image that wriggles organically and forms an image combined with physical shadow and moiré pattern. Like it is expressed in the work’s title “Embryo,” it only gives us a feeling that something is about to begin, something that down not have any boundary that separates it from various things yet.

暗闇の中で，体験者はうなるような低音と，生成変化し続ける茫漠としたイメージに出会います．暗闇の中の微かな光は，有機的にうごめく不定形な映像となり，物理的な影やモアレと相まって，イメージを形成します．作品タイトルの「Embryo」は「胚」という意味で，様々なものを隔てる境界もまだない，何かのはじまりのみを予感させます．
